分纤箱与分纤盒的差别在哪里？

分纤箱与分纤盒差别只是分得光缆芯数的大小不同吗？比如光纤分纤箱能够达到上百芯数，而一般的分纤盒好像只有几十芯。很多地方都没有说明光分纤箱的工作原理是什么，一根主干光缆在被光分纤箱光分得时候，是把一根缆进行光分呢，还是把缆中的许多细芯分成不同的组数的芯？求各位大大赐教。
应该说主要是容量上的区别。还有就是位置上的区别（其实也是容量区别导致的）光纤分纤箱的位置比分纤盒要高，分纤盒主要还是在末端用于用户接入光缆的接续。
